Dr. Sanders is a dedicated educator with a rich background in teaching and leadership. She began her educational career as a high school English teacher and later transitioned into leadership roles. In 2020, she was named Assistant Principal at Minor High School. She also earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Samford University at this time. 

 

Dr. Sanders believes in the power of a supportive and rigorous learning environment and is committed to ensuring all students succeed. Her vision for Minor High School is to develop well-rounded, confident, and responsible students who are prepared for college and careers while becoming productive citizens.

 

Dr. Sanders is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has two beautiful daughters and one granddaughter. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and the Birmingham Junior League. Join us in welcoming Dr. Sanders to her new role!
